Jennifer's practice encompasses a wide variety of government related matters including representation of clients before state and federal legislative bodies and regulatory agencies; representing public and private sector clients on land use, regulatory, and development issues ranging from annexation to zoning; government permitting, licensing, and contracting; and drafting legislation and regulations for both government and non-government entities.

Experience:

  • Represented global telecommunications leader in all matters and activities concerning the land use and zoning of telecommunications facilities, including reviewing ordinances, coordinating with local officials on the approval process, preparing and submitting the application, and representing the application at the public hearing. 

  • Provides general legal and strategic analysis of local land use and zoning requirements for various development projects throughout Georgia and assisted in the local regulatory proceedings for related land use and zoning applications.

  • Researches and prepares due diligence memorandums on current zoning and permitting status of existing properties for numerous banking and investment clients in preparation for closings.

  • Assists various clients with the preparation and submittal of campaign contribution filings at the state level and congressional lobbyist filings at the federal level.

  • In her pro bono work, Jen assists a variety of clients in landlord/tenant disputes and domestic violence cases through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.  She also assists nonprofit organizations with land use and zoning matters through the Atlanta Pro Bono Partnership.
